About Us
Hello Poochy started as Cams Dog Grooming Ltd in 2020 — a small, heartfelt grooming service built on patience, care, and a love for dogs. In 2024, we rebranded to Hello Poochy to better reflect our playful personality and growing community. Today, we offer expert grooming, a handpicked selection of dog accessories, and specialised care products — all designed to keep your pup happy, healthy, and looking their best.

Owner & Groomer
Cams
Cams began her dog grooming journey in 2017, starting out with SmartPups where she handled washing and drying before officially becoming a groomer at Petstock NZ in 2018. With a growing passion for canine care and grooming, she took the leap in 2020 to launch her own business — originally called Cams Dog Grooming Ltd.
Dedicated to continuous learning, Cams is always expanding her knowledge in dog grooming, behaviour, and business operations. Her goal is to educate not just her team but also her clients, empowering them to better understand their dogs’ grooming and wellness needs.
Her favourite part of the day? Chatting with the pups and sharing stories with their humans — it’s all part of the Hello Poochy magic.
Master Pet Groomer
Summah
Summah has been professionally grooming since 2019 and is a certified Master Groomer, qualified across all breeds. She grooms both dogs and cats, with a strong focus on animal welfare, gentle handling, and creating a calm, safe environment where pets feel comfortable and relaxed. Her approach to grooming is centred on creating a positive experience — not just focusing on how pets look, but how they feel. Summah takes pride in reading each animal’s individual needs and working at their pace, ensuring every groom is carried out with patience, care, and respect. Cat grooming is a key part of Summah’s work. She is experienced in handling cats with confidence and sensitivity, understanding their unique behaviour, stress responses, and handling requirements. Her cat grooms prioritise low-stress techniques, careful coat management, and safety at all times, helping make grooming as calm and positive as possible for feline clients. Alongside her hands-on experience, Summah is an award-winning competitive groomer with multiple podium finishes at Groomalong and Groomwars competitions.

She holds professional certifications across multiple breed groups, including Salon Proficiency, Terrier, Non-Sporting, and Gundog, and in 2025 completed her Master Grooming examination across all breeds.
